Leah Ko Graham has over a decade of experience in Antiracism, Gender Equity, and DEIA as a community organizer, speaker, podcast host, trainer, coach, and consultant. She is deeply passionate about antiracism and gender equity work, and loves hearing people’s stories and learning about different cultures.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in International Human Rights and Journalism and a master’s degree in African American and African Studies with a focus on systems of oppression in the U.S. and South Africa. She has worked in multiple countries including South Africa, Jamaica, China, Uganda, and Tanzania.
Her education and experiences, combined with growing up in a deeply conservative and religious interracial, immigrant, low socioeconomic, rural family, gives her and breadth and depth of understanding and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
As a research-based Antiracism and Gender Equity practitioner, she has worked with nonprofits, social services agencies, community arts centers, and legal aid organizations throughout the U.S. as well as served as a thought-leader, expert, and guest speaker on numerous podcasts, webinars, and panels.
She loves hiking the beautiful mountains and trails of Southern California and tending to her cacti and succulents. Her memoir, a lifelong dream and goal, is currently under publication.
